signed an agreement to increase cooperation in the field of energy. Following the meeting of Turkey-Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Trilateral Energy Ministers, cooperation agreements were signed between the energy ministers of the countries. It was held at the Presidential Dolmabahçe Work Office. Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Perviz Shahbazov and Minister of Geology of Turkmenistan Shahim Abdrahmanov attended the meeting.
WE ARE WORKING TO TRANSFER THE NATURAL RESOURCES OF THE CASPIAN REGION TO OUR COUNTRY Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, stating that they are working to transmit the natural resources of the Caspian region to our country and other markets, said, "I sincerely believe that we can put forward the understanding of cooperation that our countries will adopt in every field of energy. In areas such as hydrocarbons, renewable energy and energy efficiency, countries have many goals and opportunities that are compatible with them. Moreover, I believe that there are wills to strengthen the areas where our countries will cooperate with scientific, technical and economic opportunities." WE
GIVE PRIORITY TO DOMESTIC AND RENEWABLE ENERGY Noting that he fully believes that there are many opportunities to be realized in the field of energy as in every field between the three countries, Dönmez pointed out that the energy sector, which is a major determinant of its political and economic agenda, has changed in a great way in parallel with global transformations. Dönmez said, "As a country, we are continuing a transformation process in our own energy sector in accordance with the developments in the world. We give priority to the use of domestic and renewable energies. We continue to develop strong infrastructure investments. While we are taking these steps, it makes us very happy to see all our friends, especially Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, with us."
