Limak Energy Environmental Team continues its activities without slowing down. The Environmental Team, which set out with the slogan "We Enlighten Life, We Protect Nature", has enabled a total of five areas in Bursa and Yalova to regain their natural beauty so far. Çanakkale was the new address of the Environmental Team, which previously cleared the area around Küreklidere Waterfall, Mudanya center and the coastal area in the Kumyaka region, the Hasan Baba Picnic Area in Yalova Çınarcık and the Dağyenice Pond within the scope of September 15 World Cleaning Day. The Environmental Team, formed by Limak Energy company employees, aims to create awareness by contributing to environmental cleanliness in the 4 provinces where it operates. The Environmental Team held its fifth event in Çanakkale, one of the provinces served by Limak Energy. The cleaning movement carried out by the members of the Environmental Team, which restored the Çanakkale Kepez coast to its natural appearance, was attended by the students and lecturers from the Department of Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and Publicity of the Vocational School of Social Sciences of Çanakkale 18 Mart University. "We have imagined a sustainable future today so that there will be no trace of pollution in our natural resources in the coming years." The Environmental Team, which aims to draw attention to the protection of nature in every activity it organizes, reveals the damage to nature as well as raising awareness on this issue. Stating that the healthy city silhouette will only be built by environmentally sensitive individuals, the members of the Environmental Team are also role models for citizens about how the environment should be protected and how it should be cleaned. Referring to the increase in the rate of plastic in the world recently, the Environment Team said; "Plastic waste is one of the substances with the highest rate of loss in nature. It is also the case that these substances that harm nature threaten the lives of living things in nature and harm the environment. To make our world more livable, we need to zero in on the damage we have done to nature. Environmental cleanliness means preventing all kinds of natural resource pollution. For this reason, it is also very important to instill sustainable environmental awareness. Because we need to learn to live without polluting and to respect nature. In order to ensure that there is no trace of pollution in our natural resources in the coming years, we have imagined a sustainable future from today. With the work we do, we both realize this dream and aim to leave a beautiful world to the future." The Environmental Team, which collects wastes such as plastic bags, pet bottles, packaging, food and paper left to nature, will continue to increase environmental awareness in the society by continuing its social responsibility project.
