Elektra Elektronik to Grow by Opening New Markets in 2020

Elektra Elektronik, the leading brand of the Turkish electronics industry, closed 2019, which it declared as the "Year of Breakthrough", with a turnover of 37 million TL by growing by 20 percent compared to the previous year. Having decided to expand its factory in 2019 and doubled its capacity, Elektra Elektronik plans to continue its growth by turning its focus to new markets and to close 2020 with a turnover of 40 million TL. The company, which exports domestic and national transformers and electronic products to nearly 60 countries in 6 different continents, has added America to its export markets with its new investment. Elektra Elektronik, which aims to increase its export volume by 10 percent to 70 percent in 2020, aims to open up to South America, Asia Pacific and North African countries. The company, which increased its R&D investments in 2019, also aims to start the process of establishing an R&D Center in 2020. Elektra Elektronik General Manager Emin Armağan Şakar, who evaluated 2019 and conveyed the targets for 2020; "By declaring 2019, which was a difficult year for Turkey and the world economies, as the Year of Breakthrough for our company, we spent a year above expectations with the investments we made and new market expansions. After our company in Germany and our sales office in China, we opened our sales office in America in May. We increased our production capacity by expanding our factory. As Elektra Elektronik, while closing the year 2019 with a positive picture, we aim to continue our growth by increasing our success graph even more in 2020, when we will celebrate our 40th anniversary."

The company, which exports domestic and national transformer and electronic products to nearly 60 countries in 6 different continents, plans to open up to South America, Asia Pacific and North African countries in 2020 and increase its export volume by 10 percent and increase the total export rate in its turnover to 70 percent.

Elektra Elektronik, which has been standing out with its investments in R&D since 2010, aims to start the establishment process of "Elektra Electronics R&D Center" as a result of industry-university cooperation projects in the new year and to continue its investments without slowing down.

"We aim to maintain our leading position in the market"

Elektra Elektronik General Manager Emin Armağan Şakar stated that they are the leading company in the low voltage transformer and reactor sector in Turkey in terms of production capacity, number of employees and export rate; Stating that they aim to grow their production volumes in the new year with the investment they have made to increase their production capacity in 2019, he made the following statements; "Despite the difficult conditions and pessimistic atmosphere in Turkey and the world economy, we had a very productive 2019, which we declared as the "Year of Breakthrough" for our company. After our company in Germany and our sales office in China, we opened our sales office in America in May. We doubled our production capacity by expanding our factory. In this way, we aim to increase our production volume in 2020, when we will celebrate our 40th anniversary, to shorten product delivery times with fast and flexible production and to maintain our leading position in the market. With the impact of growth, we plan to increase employment in our production, sales and R&D departments."

Stating that they aim to increase the export rate in turnover to 70 percent , Şakar said; "We are the only company in the sector in Turkey that has UL Certificate that makes it possible to export to America in its sector. Today, we export to nearly 60 countries in 6 continents. With our new investment in 2019, we added America to our export markets. For 2020, we have taken South America, Asia Pacific and North African countries into our close brand. Our goal is to increase our export volume by 10 percent by increasing the number of countries we export to. We believe that we will receive the returns of our R&D investments in 2020 and we aim to increase our market share in this way."

"We continue R&D for advanced versions of our new product"

Stating that they aim to bring the new generation products active harmonic filter, which prevents industrialists from paying reactive power fines in high amounts and extends the life of electronic devices in enterprises, to the forefront in the new period, Şakar said; "In our active harmonic filter product, which we have developed as a result of long R & D studies, we plan to make software and technological improvements in details such as remote monitoring and online connection. Stating that they plan to increase the seminars they hold in 2020 in order to raise awareness of industrialists about the importance of energy quality, Şakar stated that they will accelerate the training activities for engineers, especially in Anatolian provinces.
