ADDISPOWER, the international Electricity & Energy exhibition held on 06-08 September 2018, brought together the sector representatives for the first time in Addisababa, the capital of Ethiopia. During the fair, our magazine was successfully distributed to exhibitors and visitors free of charge from our stand and at the entrance of the exhibition area. AddisPower 2018, coordinated by TG Expo fair organization from Turkey, includes many topics on Electrical Materials, Lighting, Automation, Energy & Security technologies. At the AddisPower Fair, technologies in the electrical, electronics, lighting and automation sectors, which have high industrial potential and are needed in the countries of the region, were exhibited collectively. TG Expo Fair officials, who explained that Addispower fair was organized for the first time this year and that they realized it successfully; Emphasizing that Ethiopia is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, he said that it has achieved 11 percent growth in the past 14 years. Noting that Ethiopia is a popular destination for foreign direct investment, he said that there are already more than 165 Turkish companies in Ethiopia with a capital of over $ 2.5 billion. Also, at a fee of $3 per kilowatt, Ethiopia is one of the countries with the world's cheapest cost energy sources. The energy sources available include hydroenergy, solar, wind and geothermal. In terms of energy resources, Ethiopia has the opportunity to produce energy from all kinds of sources and without capacity limits." he explained.
