The Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY has announced that it is ABB's Official Charging Partner. ABB will offer custom-built compact Terra fast chargers for the series. The eTROPHY series will begin in December 2018 to become the main supporter of this season's ten races in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship.

 Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY has announced that it has signed with leading technology leader ABB to serve as the Official Charging Partner of the new Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY series. As part of this partnership, ABB will provide custom-made compact fast chargers to each of the participating teams in this new electric racing series. Terra DC fast chargers are specifically designed for the series and can quickly charge Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY race cars during warm-ups, qualifying and short breaks between races. The compact design allows chargers to be easily transported for 10 races and that shipping costs are kept to a minimum. The partnership supports ABB's role as the main sponsor of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. It is a key indicator of the company's vision to support and expand the future of e-mobility.

 The Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY is the world's first fully electric, production-based racing series. It will take place on the same weekends as the ABB FIA Formula E racing series and on the same city streets. The series, which includes 20 Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY race cars, will offer participating teams the chance to demonstrate their racing skills and performance, as well as the opportunity to compete on the zero-emission motorsport world stage.
