Danfoss Holds HVAC and Building Automation Seminar

Danfoss, a world leader in heating, cooling, engine control systems and power solutions, organized the HVAC and Building Automation Seminar in partnership with computer-based automation firm Beckhoff. The seminar featured a wide range of presentations ranging from smart HVAC systems to technological solutions in building automation, and closely examined product and system demos. The 'HVAC and Building Automation Seminar' organized by Danfoss, the world leader in the fields of heating, cooling, engine control systems and power solutions, in partnership with Beckhoff, was held on November 7 at Sheraton Grand Ataşehir. The seminar, which was held with sectoral participation, started with the opening speech of Emre Gören, General Manager of Danfoss Turkey, where he introduced the principles of Danfoss. Beckhoff Turkey Sales Manager Serkan Çiftçi, who took Emre Gören's name, explained Beckhoff and the company's technological automation activities. In the seminar, which continued with the presentation of Ahmet Canpolat, Business Development Director of Danfoss Heating Systems, on "New and Digital Solutions in Balancing", Canpolat touched on issues such as smart HVAC systems, Danfoss NovoCon product, hydronic balancing and coolant control. Following Ahmet Canpolat, Beckhoff Turkey Building Automation Responsible Berkcan Berk introduced Beckhoff products for building automation through his presentation. Danfoss Motor Control Systems Global Director Jesper Therbo, who came to Turkey to attend the seminar, informed the audience about "Energy Efficiency in Buildings & Frequency Converter Selection in HVAC Applications", while Beckhoff HVAC Product Manager Bernd Hölscher, who took the floor after Jesper Therbo, conveyed information on "Integrated HVAC Automation & Energy Efficiency". In the seminar where product and system demos were closely examined, participants also had the opportunity to visit a sample factory designed with simulation in the field of VR (augmented reality) and to examine the products placed in this factory with VR glasses. Danfoss will continue to organize seminars to raise awareness of the industry.
