Zorlu Energy Invests 50 MW of Solar in Kazakhstan

Within the scope of the "Turkey – Kazakhstan Investment Forum" organized by the Ministry of Investment and Development of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of Turkey, Kazakh Invest and DEİK in Ankara, a goodwill agreement was signed between Zorlu Energy and the Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan and the Governorship of the Turkestan Region for the 50 MW Solar Power Plant project in Kazakhstan in order to develop mutual trade relations of Turkey and Kazakhstan and increase investments. Within the framework of the activities carried out by Kazakhstan in line with its economic targets for 2050, the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Ankara, was presented to the Republic of Turkey by the Republic of Turkey. "Turkey – Kazakhstan Investment Forum" was held with the participation of Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Mozumbayev and DEİK Turkish-Kazakh Business Council President Mert Sarı. At the forum, which is an important step taken to remove Kazakhstan from the structure based on the export of raw materials and natural resources, especially oil and natural gas, the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Kanat Mozumbayev and the General Manager responsible for Zorlu Energy Investments, Operation and Maintenance Ali Kndap signed a goodwill agreement on the development of a 50 MW Solar Power Plant.
